- Chemical diversity of essential oils and polyphenols from aromatic plants at the specific (different species) and intraspecific level (different varieties within a species).
- Biological activity (antioxidant and antimicrobial) of aromatic and medicinal plants and/or isolated components/extracts.

- The regulation of essential oil accumulation in aromatic plants.
