Becoming a Shareholder
A share in the farm entitles you to a weekly pickup of our organically grown vegetables and herbs. As we go through the season, the shares will contain varying amounts of different vegetables – all grown on site and always fresh-picked! (See samples of past harvests.)For 2013 we are offering an 18 week share (June through September) for $500. That's just about $28 a week for locally-grown, organic produce -- far less than you would pay for it in the supermarket.
From June through August, share pickups will be noon - 6:00 pm on Thursdays, and 8 am - noon on Fridays. In September, pickups will be on FRIDAYS ONLY from 9 am until 2 pm.
To become a shareholder, please send your check for $500 made payable to ‘Rutgers University’, along with your name, e-mail address and phone number, to:

I understand that this is community supported agriculture. Even though we are committed to the best of our ability to provide high quality organic produce, there are risks in agriculture which need to be shared by the whole community and may be reflected in the yields of certain crops. I understand that my membership payment entitles me to a weekly share of produce harvested for The Student Sustainable Farm at Rutgers during the Summer 2013 growing season. I understand that it is my responsibility to become familiar with the rules of the CSA program (found in the Members’ Handbook) and my membership may be discontinued for failure to abide by these rules.
